Recently, a local client called our CST UK Services Team with an urgent request to replace a burst sprinkler tank liner before their water supply was cut off!
The dimensions of the 15 year old FM approved liner tank were 12.5m diameter by 11.5m in height, which holds over 1,300 cubic metres of water. (Not a small tank!)
As described above, due to the height of the tank in question, our method of replacing Liners, Roof Purlins, Roof sheets etc is to always unbolt the tank shell, remove panels and hydraulically jack down the tank to a SAFE working height.
This method eradicates the use of extremely high scaffold structures & ladders internally and cherry pickers externally, which requires the need to carry large / heavy materials to be installed at dangerous heights.
If your existing sprinkler tank requires any form of remedial works, replacement, ROV inspection to TB203, or just some general tank advice, our dedicated Tank Inspection & Services team CST Industries, Inc. are here to help.
